My Story: From Interior Design to Creative Living
I’ve always believed in living life hands-on. My journey began with a deep-rooted passion for design, leading me to pursue a degree in interior design. I spent years exploring my creativity through different mediums, from painting and ceramics to running a vintage clothing company for five years. These experiences shaped my love for all things art and creativity, and I've never stopped seeking out new ways to express myself.
Currently, I reside in New Jersey, where my husband and I share our lives with two wonderful pups: a French Bulldog named Brussel Sprout and a Rat Terrier named Pickles. Together, we’re planning an exciting move to upstate New York, near Hudson in the beautiful Berkshires. I’m looking forward to embracing the slower-paced lifestyle, exploring the scenic trails, and immersing myself in the creative culture of the area.
Why I Created The Wandering Creative
The idea for The Wandering Creative came from my lifelong love of exploring new places and creating beautiful things. I wanted to craft a space where I could combine my passions for travel, art, and homesteading while inspiring others to live creatively. The name reflects my philosophy: to wander through life with curiosity, finding joy and inspiration in every corner. Whether it's embarking on a weekend getaway, crafting a DIY project, or cooking a delicious meal, I believe that creativity can be found in the everyday.
